WARRANTY STATEMENT
Cheaper Diesel Spares Australia (CDSA) provides a 12-month warranty (or 20,000 km, whichever occurs first) from the date of invoice on new parts
and exchange units. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship only
The customer must notify CDSA promptly upon first becoming aware of a potential warranty issue. Warranty claims cannot be processed without CDSA’s approval.
Warranty Conditions
To be eligible for warranty assessment, the following conditions must be met:
- The product must have been installed by a licensed mechanic, diesel technician, or fuel injection specialist, and fitted strictly in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- The product must have been installed on the correct make, model, or application as stated on the product listing or invoice
- The product must not have been modified, adjusted, misused, incorrectly installed, or operated outside manufacturer specifications
- The customer is responsible for the condition of the vehicle’s fuel system prior to installation
- The fuel system must be free from contamination. Warranty does not apply where failure is caused by, but not limited to:
- fuel contamination
- water ingress
- rust or corrosion
- sludge, microbial growth, or bio-diesel breakdown
- foreign matter, debris, or other impurities within the fuel system
Warranty Limitations
The warranty applies to the part only and does not cover:
- labour or installation costs
- removal or reinstallation costs
- diagnostic or testing costs
- towing, vehicle hire, travel or transport expenses
- consequential loss, downtime, or loss of income
Returning a product for inspection does not guarantee that the warranty will be approved.
All warranty decisions, including repair, replacement or refund, are at the sole discretion of CDSA.
Warranty Claim Procedure
To lodge a warranty claim:
- Email [email protected] to notify CDSA of the issue.
- Provide proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
- Provide reasonable diagnostic information or evidence if requested.
- CDSA will assess the information and advise next steps. CDSA may require the item to be returned for inspection before a determination is made.
Definitions
“Supplier” refers to Cheaper Diesel Spares Australia.
“Customer” refers to the individual, company, or entity purchasing the product.
