Shipping Fees & Carriers (Domestic)
Shipping Fees
- Orders under $200: Flat-rate $12.70 via Australia Post Express
- Orders over $200: Free Australia Post Express shipping
- All domestic orders are shipped via Australia Post Express by default
- Alternative carriers (TNT, FedEx, Toll, DHL) may be used and may attract additional charges if required by you
PO Box & Parcel Locker Deliveries
Deliveries to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers are handled exclusively by Australia Post Express
Local Delivery – Brisbane Metro & Gold Coast
Local delivery is available via Fastrider or Jim’s Couriers upon request. Please note that tracking may not be available for these services.
Click & Collect
Click and Collect is available for the majority of our products. As our inventory is distributed across multiple warehouses, we kindly request that customers contact us prior to ordering to confirm stock availability and quantities at their preferred collection location
In some cases, stock may need to be transferred between warehouses before collection can be arranged. If a transfer is required, we will advise you of the expected timeframe
Order Processing & Dispatch
Cut-Off Times for Same-Day Dispatch
All in-stock orders placed before 3:00pm AEST are typically dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after this time, or on weekends and public holidays, will be dispatched on the next business day
Order Processing Times
Orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours on business days. Processing times may be extended during public holidays, peak trading periods, or courier disruptions
Backorders / Pre-Order / Out-of-Stock Items
- We will notify you of the expected restock or dispatch date
- You may choose to split the shipment, wait for restock, or cancel the affected item/order
- Pre-orders may require full payment to secure allocation
Estimated Delivery Times
Australia Post Express (Default)
- 1 – 2 business days for most metropolitan areas
- Longer timeframes apply for regional or remote destinations

Road Shipping (2–6 Business Days)
Road Shipping is used for items unsuitable for air transport, such as oversized, heavy, or restricted goods. Estimated delivery time is 2 – 5 business days, depending on the delivery location and carrier capacity
International Delivery Times
International deliveries typically take 4 – 10 business days, depending on the destination, carrier network, and customs processing
Order Tracking
Tracking details are provided once your order has been dispatched via Australia Post or our KIS Freight Management System. Tracking links will be sent to the email address supplied at checkout
Some local courier services (such as Fastrider and Jim’s Couriers) may not provide tracking information
Courier Selection Clause
While customer preferences are taken into account, Cheaper Diesel Spares Australia (CDSA) reserves full discretion to select the most appropriate courier for each shipment. This decision may be based on:
- Item size, weight, or classification (including restricted or dangerous goods);
- Delivery location or regional/remote status;
- Warehouse dispatch origin;
- Carrier service availability and performance
This approach ensures safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of your order
Partial Deliveries / Multi-Warehouse Shipments
- Orders may be shipped in multiple parcels where items are dispatched from different warehouses or due to stock availability
- Separate tracking numbers will be provided for each parcel where the selected shipping method supports tracking
- There is no additional cost to the customer for split shipments
Delivery timeframes for each parcel may differ depending on the warehouse location and carrier routing
Holiday & Peak Season Delays
During peak trading periods (including but not limited to Christmas, Black Friday, public holidays, and major sales events), both processing and delivery times may be extended due to increased courier volumes and network congestion
We recommend placing orders early during these periods to minimise the risk of delays
Changes & Cancellations
Order changes or cancellations can only be processed if the order has not yet been packed or dispatched
Once an order has been dispatched, CDSA is unable to modify or cancel the shipment. We may, however, be able to assist with return options, subject to our Returns & Refund Policy and the condition of the goods
Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Parcels
Lost Parcels
If you believe your parcel is lost in transit, please contact us promptly. We will lodge an investigation with the carrier. If the carrier confirms that the parcel is lost while in transit, we will assist you in processing a carrier claim and may, at our discretion, provide a replacement or refund.
Damaged Parcels
If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of:
- The damaged item(s);
- The packaging; and
- The shipping label
We will assess the claim and arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, refund, or other remedy
Delayed Parcels
Delivery delays may occur due to factors outside of CDSA’s control, including weather events, peak season congestion, carrier network issues, or customs processing. While we cannot guarantee delivery dates, we will assist in tracking your parcel and following up with the carrier where necessary
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure successful and timely delivery, customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete delivery addresses and contact details;
- Ensuring safe and reasonable access to the delivery location;
- Monitoring tracking details once provided;
- Promptly reporting delivery issues or discrepancies; and
- Inspecting goods upon arrival and reporting any damage within the specified timeframe
CDSA is not liable for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer
If Authority to Leave (ATL) is provided, the customer assumes all responsibility for the parcel once the carrier marks it as delivered
Any re-delivery, redirection, or return-to-sender fees resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details will be payable by the customer
International Shipping
International shipping is available upon request. Please contact us to obtain a shipping quote based on your location and order
All customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, brokerage fees, and any other government charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. CDSA is not liable for customs delays, inspections, fees, or the refusal of customs authorities to release goods
Force Majeure Clause
Cheaper Diesel Spares Australia is not liable for any delay or failure in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, strikes, industrial disputes, transport disruptions, courier network failures, accidents, or government restrictions
In such cases, delivery timeframes may be extended and CDSA will not be held responsible for any resulting loss, damage, or inconvenience
