Petrol in a Diesel Car
Don’t even turn the key. Otherwise, the fuel will be spread throughout the system and cause major damage. The extent of work required is reviewed on a case by case basis however damages normally amount to thousands. If the car has not been started, the system may be drained and correct fuel added.

If diesel is put in a diesel car it may have symptoms such as; the car won’t run well, pinging or knocking noise, exhaust smoke and loss of power. Rectification is done on a case by case basis however the system will need to be drained and flushed and correct fuel added.
